2016 turned out particularly exciting again.

The year started with the SQL Server Conference in Darmstadt, Germany. Topic: the new security features of the new SQL Server 2016. There, I had the honor of being on stage together with Joachim Hammer, Head of the Security Team for the Relational SQL Engines at Microsoft!

In addition, I had the chance to do an interview with the prominent guest from Redmond, which was aired at Channel9.

In April 2016, I was invited as a speaker to the SQL Gulf Event in Saudi-Arabia. Later that year, I made it to India again, to Asia’s largest SQL Server conference, as well as twice to Singapore.

2016 was definitely an extremely varied year!
